The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics offers several opportunities for professional development and career advancement through internships, job opportunities and volunteer work. Internships with the Center are a great way for current students or recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the outdoor recreation and education field. Internships

Summer positions are now full. There are potential openings for the Fall 2011. Please inquire with the Center.

Typical Internship Cycle

• January 1 start date, November 1 application deadline
• June 1 start date, April 1 application deadline

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics offers internships throughout the year, giving interns an opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and gain valuable experience in a number of areas, including:

• Education and Training
• General Outreach
• Development/Fund Raising
• Membership/Partnership Programs
• Database Management
• Other

Additional considerations:

• Internships with the Center are generally unpaid.
• Internships are typically 3-6 months.
• Length of internship and daily hours are negotiable.
• Internships are only available in Boulder, Colorado. Unfortunately, the Center is unable to provide housing.
